Using ScoutLink responsibly

Last updated: July 2026. These terms apply to ScoutLink coaches, scouts, players, Stratex administrators and public users.

Account eligibility

Users must provide accurate information and use the correct account type. Scout and coach access may be reviewed, approved, suspended or removed where verification or safety concerns arise.

User role responsibilities

• Coaches must only create or manage player profiles where they are authorised to do so.
• Coaches must hold appropriate parent, guardian, club or school permission before uploading youth player data, photos or video evidence.
• Scouts must use ScoutLink only in a legitimate scouting, recruitment or football evaluation capacity.
• Administrators must only access data needed for their role, support, operations, safeguarding or security.

Misuse of player data

Users must not scrape, mass-download, resell, share, copy or export player information outside approved ScoutLink workflows or their authorised organisation.

No direct contact with minors

ScoutLink does not permit direct adult-to-child recruitment messaging through the platform. Player visibility, profile access and interest workflows should remain coach, club, school or guardian mediated.

False identity and abuse

Users must not use false scout, coach, club or school identities. Abusive, discriminatory, inappropriate, unsafe or unlawful behaviour may lead to suspension or account removal.

Platform activity and audit trails

ScoutLink may record account and platform activity to operate and secure the platform, improve the product, support safeguarding, investigate misuse and maintain audit trails.

Intellectual property

ScoutLink, its product design, scoring logic, software, brand and materials belong to Stratex Analytics or its licensors. Users retain appropriate rights in information they are authorised to upload, subject to these terms.

Suspension and removal

ScoutLink may restrict, suspend or remove access where permissions are disputed, safety concerns arise, data is misused, verification fails or these terms are breached.

Liability and governing law

ScoutLink is provided as a decision-support platform. To the extent permitted by law, Stratex Analytics is not responsible for recruitment outcomes or decisions made by third parties. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
